The Great Exploration LIVE

Had the privilege to again hang out with my buddies over at “The Great Exploration.” this time around for some live shots this last Saturday!

You may recognize this guy from previous photo shoots. This is GRANT and he’s rockin’ the hair & vocals. This is just one of my favorite shots from the show last Saturday. Shot at the blistering ISO of 6400 to get the real gritty feel of the concert, and to allow for more over exposed feel to the photos without dipping too low in shutter speed. I am very happy with these results!

Be sure to see MANY more photos of this show here:

Be sure to check out the band!

where are you going?

Have you ever felt like you were in the wrong place? no trespassing… do not enter… go away… beware of dogs…

are you lost? what is your passion? why are you here? where do you want to be? what is the direction in your life? who has inspired you? who has discouraged you? who are you?

Sometimes questions popup into my head to help me make decisions. I don’t choose to have these questions come up, but these and many more are just questions that have inspired me to progress as an artist.

I haven’t had too much success, or as people have made me feel i haven’t been successful. But, once I look at it, I have had over 500 unique visitors to my web site in the last month, over 250,000 total visits to my photographs on Flickr (and average 500-1000 in one day), and over 700 fans on Facebook. How is that not success? So what if i haven’t made much money with my camera, I am sure I have impacted plenty of lives, and that’s all that matters to me.

It’s not about the money, it’s about the lives that are changed.

PS: apparently, i don’t like capital letters when i am thinking…
